The trees are so close to the road that they create a total of fall colors that covers the gamut of the spectrum of color. From green to orange to gold and red the leaves are saturated with color. The rain has passed by and brought down a few of the leaves on to the road making it hard to tell the difference between what's above and what's below it wouldn't take very many more leaves to just be a tunnel of color with no up and no down, just color. The smell of the damp leaves surrounds you and is pervasive with every step you take down the path and you reached down and pick up a red or orange or gold and orange leaf to add to your collection.
