Artist's Description
The Goffe Mill covered bridge was about to be demolished in Bedford New Hampshire when the town of Wentworth acquired the bridge and had it moved to Wentworth NH. It was never a very old covered bridge being built in 1962. It was brought to Wentworth to replae the aging steel bridge and be a pedestrian bridge over the Baker River. After coming to Wentworth, it was renamed the Friendship covered bridge. and they hung a large American flag on the side.
