Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Coming into the town of Scituate is a joy because it liad out well and you can easily drive along the water front to reach Lighthouse road. Once you hit that it's a straight shot out to the entrance of the harbor and the Lighthouse. Parking is plentiful and depending on the tide you can walk along the outside arm of the protective bank of the shoal that makes Scituate such a popular harbor. The Lighthouse itself is well maintained with white painted stone or brick for the building. The lantern room at the top houses the light and the outside is covered in copper which has turned a wonderful green patina
