I often tell photographers visiting this bridge to get out of the frame of mind that you just catch the opening and go in search of something else to shoot. If you watch your step and walk around, always remember to stop and look up at the bridge and see if the view makes sense from a compositional standpoint. You are sure to find 2-5 angles that will work for you. Franconia Notch State Park is located inbetween the between the high peaks of the Kinsman and Franconia mountain ranges. The Flume is a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. You can leave the visitor center and do a two mile loop which allows you to see a great vistas and Covered bridges like the Flume covered bridge seen in this view.
