Portland breakwater lighthouse Maine Baby Onesie

The Portland breakwater lighthouse in south Portland Maine. Due to it's short stature they call it a bug light but I refer to all these short navigational becons as bug lights. The doesn't lower their value. They are everybit as important for preventing mariners from running aground on the various points and shoals along Maine's rocky shoreline. This one is especially nice to shoot because of the ornate detail. The design was inspired by the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates in Athens.
